On Saturday, May 14, 2005, my good friend Dave Kolstad (who works closely with us) invited me for lunch in San Diego. San Diego is about a 2.5 hour drive ... but we weren't driving! Dave took me in his Very Easy plane, that he built himself. It was so much fun. We took the inland route going south and followed the coast on the way home. The weather was great, but quite hazy. Many of these photos from my digital camera had to be adusted to compensate for the smog layer. Nevertheless, it was a lot of fun for me, and I thought you'd like to see some of the highlights.
