Christ has called us to go into all the world - meaning to all peoples, tongues, tribes, and nations - in order to make disciples of all nations. In places like the Ann Arbor area where I live, we have a unique opportunity to go into all the world right here in our own communities. God has strategically brought the future leaders of the nations as students, researchers, and visiting instructors right here to our universities.
There are over 7000 international students and scholars in the Ann Arbor area, along with their families, and most are from countries where Christians are greatly restricted from outreach. We are working to build bridges into these communities: to show Christ's love and service to them and to share the good news of the eternal life available to them because of His perfectly righteous life, sacrificial death, and resurrection.
