Don & Ruth Manta
Don & Ruth Manta: Buffalo ISI City Director. Don grew up in Michigan. Ruth grew up in Japan as an MK and then in Ontario. Both Don and Ruth received Bible Certificates from Columbia International University. Don and Ruth served two years on the mission field in Spain, and then settled in Raleigh. From there they moved in 2003 with their four children (Daniel, Anna Ruth Timothy, and Benjamin) to Buffalo to join ISI. Don started out as City Mobilizer and now is the City Director as of July, 2007. Ruth is part-time campus staff.

Eleanor Blackburn
Eleanor Blackburn: Buffalo State Campus Staff. Eleanor is from the Watertown, NY area. She graduated from Business school in Syracuse and then worked as a secretary in Buffalo. She started an ISI ministry at Buffalo State College over 30 years ago, and is now known there as "The Mother of Internationals." Eleanor organizes an activity schedule for Buffalo State international students, as well as providing Bible study and church opportunities.

Phyllis Lawecki
Phyllis Lawecki: UB Campus Staff. Phyllis is from Pennsylvania. After spending 3 years in the Navy, she married Don Lawecki. They served together with Wycliffe for 9 years. Don joined ISI staff in 1993 in Virginia, and transferred to Buffalo in 1995. After he passed away in 1997, Phyllis joined ISI as UB Campus Staff. She received her Masters in TESOL from UB in 2000. Phyllis runs our ISI English program and organizes UB ISI activities and trips. Phyllis is shown here with her daughter Jolynda.

Rasheed Akhtar
Rasheed is a Campus Staff at University at Buffalo. His area of concentration is South Asian Students. Rasheed came on staff in 2008. He comes from Pakistan and is married with three children.

Lisa Kragbe
Lisa is our newest campus staff. She is currently in her Partnership Development phase of ministry. She will eventually be campus staff for both Buffalo State College and UB. Lisa is shown in the photo on the bottom left.

Eleanor & Irving Larson
Eleanor Larson is a Ministry Representative at Niagara University. She mainly ministers to European students. They have Bible study each week and monthly dinners with the students.
