ISI Friendship Partner Program

The Friendship Partner Program is about making new friends and sharing cultures.  American Christians volunteer to meet and befriend international students.  We ask that you meet together about once per month for a meal or social activity.  ISI provides some activities for Friendship Partners and students to do together such as our monthly potluck dinners.  In the words of so many international students, “Your friendship has made such a difference in my life and experience here in the US.”  I hope you will join us in this wonder opportunity.

International Students:

If you are an international student at the University at Buffalo and you are interested in having an American friend while you are in the USA come to the ISI office at 108B The commons UB North Campus. You can come and sign a short form and have a brief orientation to the program and then we will match you with an American for Friendship.

Typically your American friends would meet with you monthly for a meal or some local event. You can specify if you want a family, single person or retired couple. This is a great opportunity to experience real American Culture.
