Biography

We live in a suburb of Seattle Washington, USA about twenty kilometers north of Seattle.  Paul & I have been married for 32 years. Our two adult children, Thomas and Rachel grew up with Japanese students visiting each summer.  In many of the past twenty years, I was both a homestay teacher/coordinator and escort for groups of Japanese students coming to the Seattle area.  Paul and I have both been on short term trips to Japan.  Yes, we liked Japan.  I was a Registered Nurse for the Everett School District, but recently went full-time with ISI (International Students Inc.)  In the summer of 2001, Paul and I started a Talk Time at our church.  We love to travel and see the world through the eyes of others.
