Missions Right Here, Right Now! Be an ISI intern at the University of Michigan or EMU. Serve and share Christ with people from the 100+ countries that God has temporarily brought to us. These students and researchers will be leaders when they return to their country. Help us reach them now!

What 
 

The ISI vision is to see every international student befriended, led to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and discipled for His service.  

You will plan social activities to meet international students at the University of Michigan/EMU, develop friendships with key students and lead one to one or group Bible studies. Ministry experiences and reading assignments will be discussed every week with ISI staff to develop your cross cultural ministry skills.

Internships can be for the summer or for a whole year. You can raise support or work part-time and minister part-time. Some full-time interns may live in apartments on campus, others may drive from an hour away.  Or you could come every Friday night while you are studying at SAU.

When and Who 

The internship can start at any time and end at any time. The best time to start is in August since the new students are arriving then. However, some may want to start in January with our cell group program led by Steve Runyon which is very flexible.

The internship is available to anyone over 17 years old. An application with testimony and references will be required.
