Carl and Nichole Seay (pronounced "sea")

Business cell phone: 651-6484

Email: Advamp@aol.com
They run their business out of their home. They go to the car auctions almost every week. Tell them how much you are willing to spend on a car and what you are looking for in a car, and they will attempt to find a car for you in your price range. They will also check out the car mechanically.

Sead and Mediha Ziga

Foreign Car Engineering

2509-B East Platte Place

Colorado Springs, CO 80909

Phone 1: 473-0640

Phone 2: 219-2161

Email: Sead.1@netzero.net

The Ziga’s (from Bosnia) own an automobile repair shop called “Foreign Car Engineering.” Mediha Ziga is a licensed car dealer. She is willing to locate a car that fits your needs (you will need to give her some money up front). They will be sure that the car is in good mechanical condition before you buy the car from them. Then, when you have completed your studies and are ready to return to your home country, Mediha said that they will buy the car back from you.

Pete Mayfield

(719) 229-9222

Mr. Mayfield is a broker or wholesaler of cars. One friend said that you will not find a better deal than what you will get from Pete.

Also, if you want to look for a car yourself, the following five websites will help you find a quality used car:

The Thrifty Nickel

This is a weekly paper put out every Thursday that lists cars that are for sale. You can do a search for the car that you want in their website:

http://www.thenickel.com/adsearch.asp

The Colorado Springs Police Automobile Auction

The next auction is being held on March 20. Every once in awhile you can find a really good deal here. Here’s their website: http://www.springsgov.com/Page.asp?NavID=2324

The Gazette

The Gazette is the local newspaper for Colorado Springs, and this website is the online version of their classified section.

Reliability Rating and other things

Here's a website that deals with a lot of things you need to know about used cars. At this site, you can check the reliability rating of a particular make of used car, you can shop around for insurance, you can look up the “Blue Book” value of a car (“The Blue Book” lists the market value of a particular model of car. This helps you know how much is reasonable for you to pay for a car.), and you can even do a search for used cars in our area:

Checklist

Finally, here's a website that gives you a pre-purchase checklist. It lists what you need to look for when you're shopping for a used car.
