Classes for Improving Your English

International students sometimes want help with their English-speaking skills. The following Conversational English Groups are available so that you can practice your English in a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere. There is no charge for these services.

FREE CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH CLASSES

International Women’s Connection

The International Women’s Connection, led by Connie Trautman, meets every Wednesday morning. Three of the four monthly meetings consist of conversational English classes.

The International Women’s Connection meets in a room at the Woodmen Valley Chapel. Here are the directions to that church:

DIRECTIONS:

·    Go north on I-25 to Woodmen Road, and take exit #149 (Woodmen).

·    At the stoplight just off the freeway, turn left or west (toward the mountains).

·    After around a third of a mile you will go over a bridge. At the next stoplight following the bridge, turn right. Even though you have turned right you will actually still be on Woodmen Road (if you had gone straight at the light, it would have been Rockrimmon).

·    Go a short block and turn right at Chapel Lane.

·    Turn left at the first street. This street leads to the Woodmen Valley Chapel parking lot. Go through the doors on the ground floor and look for someone to ask to find out where the International Wives Club is meeting.
