We enjoy snow skiing, camping, entertaining friends and traveling.  Sheryl is an avid reader.  I enjoy watching the History or Discovery channel and Man v/s Wild show.  If we had to pick one of our favorite restaurants in San Francisco, it would be Town's End Bakery.

My interest in working with international students started after I lived in Sendai, Japan teaching English for a couple of years.  After that, I traveled around the world for a few months going to Korea, Thailand, Nepal, Philippines, India, Europe and other countries.  I have an undergrad degree in accounting and have worked as controller for organizations such as the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and The Nature Conservancy.
