1) American Adventure Group - Join a group of volunteers from your church to pull together 3-5 adventures to take a group of students on in one semester.
2) Conversation Partner Attend "ISI Table Talk/Game Night" 7-8:30pm every Thursday.
3) Friendship Partner gets together or "touches base" once a week for a semester.
4) Professional Mentor mentor a student who is studying in your field of expertise.
5) Driving Students - to yard sales or Costco for their dorm room set up. Even give driving lessons.
6) Drive Students - to participate in Homestay weekends. For example: the Sierra's in February or Yosemite in June.
7) Airport Pick-up greet a newly arriving student.
8) Host a Holiday Party invite a few students into your home and demonstrate how Americans celebrate a holiday.
9) Food Provider prepares or purchases food for one of ISI many events.
10) Prayer Team receive regular email prayer updates for student needs in San Francisco.
11) Church Team Leader recruits a team of volunteer friendship partners in your church to help welcome students to the US.
12) Financial Team Member - Give so this ministry can mobilize volunteers in San Francisco. Give online
13) ESL Teacher teach English to one or several international students.
14) Long-term Homestay rent a room short term in your home
15) Temporary Homestay host for a few days a newly arriving student or a student traveling through San Francisco who is associated with ISI national ministries.
16) Campus Director lead ministry at a specific campus such as SFSU, USF, Art College or City College. Coordinating services offered to students.
